What does your environmental fingerprint look like, here's an illustration of mine, one years worth of disposable razors, this is only a small part of my impact environmentally. I cycle everywhere, and try hard to keep that fingerprint low, but I also need to shave, stay clean and eat, so add the water, food, soap etc etc to the equation.
On the 10th of January 2015 I started to keep the razors I use on a daily basis, now on the 10th of January 2016 that project is complete. It illustrates our individual impacts brilliantly, as I am just one guy, and each of us will be creating the same amount of waste. Draw your own conclusions but when our oceans are choking because of plastics, and our climate is being warmed by the oil that plastic is a bi product of then the pictures do pose a question. Is there a better way than This?
Well I am going Victorian on it and buying a cut throat razor........
Cheers Steve Merrick
